Meet Maddie
Founder of FURMILY | Professional Groomer & Educator
Maddie founded FURMILY in 2020 after leaving her career in finance to pursue her passion for animals and animal welfare.
In 2023, she received professional grooming training in Asia, specialising in Korean grooming techniques. Returning to the UK, she developed her own Asian Fusion Grooming style, blending Korean artistry with practical techniques tailored to local breeds.
Passionate about raising grooming standards, Maddie has personally trained and mentored over 10 groomers, helping them develop their skills, confidence and creativity while always putting dogs’ wellbeing first.

MEET NAOKO
Naoko is a qualified and dedicated dog groomer with a City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma, alongside training in Canine First Aid and a Diploma in Canine Behaviour Training.
She is skilled in grooming all coat types, with a particular talent for creating beautifully rounded, fluffy teddy bear styles, especially for Cockapoos.
With a gentle, patient approach and a passion for continuous learning, Naoko is committed to ensuring every dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for throughout their grooming experience.
Fluent in both English and Japanese, she takes pride in building trusting relationships with every dog and their owner, making each visit to Furmily a positive and enjoyable experience.
